Italy suffers 117 significant cyberattacks a month. Cabinet Secretary Alfredo Mantovano presented a bill on strengthening cyber security in parliament.

He added that pro-Russian and pro-Palestinian groups "areparticularly active" in denial of service (DDOS) attacks. The National Cybersecurity Agency dealt with 1,411 events with impacts on Italian entities, about 117 per month, with a significant increase compared to 2022.
