In 2030, the budget of the armed forces will reach 69 billion euros. In ten years, it will have more than doubled.
It was a necessity. Our collective duty is to make our fellow citizens understand the consequences of the war in Ukraine, the stakes in the Indo-Pacific, in exo-atmospheric space, the impact of informational attacks or in cyberspace. To those who criticise the amount of expenditure, I say that a defenceless country cannot have a social, educational or health policy.
