Jorge Ríos (73) was charged with aggravated homicide for the death of Franco 'Piolo' Moreyra in 2020. The court granted the prosecutor's request and adjourned the trial that was due to begin on Monday.
Rios was caught at his home on July 17, 2020, in the middle of the night. A group of five criminals broke into the house and attacked him with a screwdriver. The victim defended himself with his Bersa Thunder 9-millimeter pistol and fired several shots.
