Josef Mayr was elected honorary chairman of the Oberländer Trachtler. The Oberland Traditional Costume Association has around 8,000 members with its 31 member clubs from Garmisch to Walchensee to Söchering and Peißenberg.
For his valuable services, Anton Neuner was a member of the district committee for exactly 30 years and was rewarded with honorary membership. Andreas Funk was honored with a carved Gau sign on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
