A man in his 20s was killed Tuesday night by a vehicle on Route 22 near Kiryat Ata. An MDA team called to the scene pronounced the young man dead at the scene.
The driver of the offending vehicle was taken to hospital in light condition. On Saturday, a 50-year-old pedestrian was killed in a fatal accident in the Western Galilee. A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman crossed Route 89, about 100 meters from the Cabri junction, and was hit by a minibus traveling eastbound.
