Kochelsee: Loisach inlet is being renovated - an important part of the Walchensee power plant. The stone wave, around 50 meters long and 50 meters wide, is used to regulate the water level of Lake Kochel.

The construction work costs around 500,000 euros and lasts six weeks, from the beginning of February to the end of March. For this purpose, the KOChelsee will be lowered to the minimum level, according to the company Uniper Kraftwerke.
