Listed companies with sustainability reporting are growing. The number of companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange that report on sustainability is growing by 15%: 63 compared to 54 in 2022.
The percentage of companies declaring at least two years' non-financial reporting experience also increased (73% compared to 56% in 2022), while the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) confirmed themselves as the most widely used reporting method. The growing attention of institutional investors with funds pursuant to art. 8 and art. 9 continues to stimulate small and medium-sized enterprises to report on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues.
