Servers in the town and agglomeration of Saint-Nazaire, in Loire-Atlantique, were victims of a “large-scale’ cyberattack during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. The origin of the cyberattack is unknown, as is the duration of the blockage.

As a precaution, the tools are still blocked and a crisis unit meets twice a day to take stock, with experts. This Thursday at the end of the afternoon, new details should be published on the town hall website, the city says. The town and four other municipalities in the department were also affected by this phenomenon, such as La-Chapelle-des-Marais, Pornichet and Montoir-de-Bretagne where telephone calls work. All use the same servers, as well as Sonadev (Nazairian development company) and ADDRN (Agency for the sustainable development of the Nazairian region) All are affected by the same phenomenon.
