Lonely Easter for Margrethe - King Frederik and Queen Mary are on vacation again. Queen Margre the II has to step in again as the Danish royal family left Copenhagen over Easter.
The royal family's time out is causing discontent in Denmark. The couple has been criticized several times for not working enough. Queen Mary has only two working days per month, while Frederik has both February and March, while he used to have eight days a month. “We will do it differently than my mother, both in terms of the organization and administration of the royal family and the way in which we switch between work and leisure as a family,” says Frederik.
