Lufthansa strikes are looming – but first others are shutting down the airports. There will soon be a threat of nationwide flight cancellations – Verdi is examining “all scenarios” for a warning strike in 2024.
Aviation security forces are scheduled to go on strike at the larger German airports this Thursday (February 1, 2024). The Verdi union has called for this. The train drivers’ union GDL, Claus Weselsky, said in mid-December, “From January 8th, you should expect longer labor disputes”
