Magdalena Emmerdt leads the fruit and horticultural association in Grainau. Tietz will remain with the club as vice-chairman.

Josef Bader held the position of cashier for 30 years and also handed his position over to younger hands. Former mayor Peter Schuster, who looked after the cash register for a total of 28 years since the club was founded, was, like Bader, awarded honorary membership. Both Bader andTietz also received the silver medal of honor from the community of Grainau, says Klaus Munz.
