Man causes an accident with a stolen car - and escapes on foot, seriously injured. Despite serious injuries, he fled on foot - and collapsed.
The 62-year-old man lost control of his vehicle near Vohenstrauß, skidded and collided first with a truck and then with a guardrail. He collapsed due to his injuries about 200 meters from the scene of the accident. He has since been remanded in custody and pre-trial detention has been ordered. It is believed the vehicle was being transported abroad when the accident occurred.
