The defendant was sentenced to two years probation for grievous bodily harm, dangerous interference with traffic, hit-and-run and negligent drunken driving. His driving license was revoked and he was not allowed to get a new one for a period of three months. According to an agreement, he will pay the victim 50,000 euros to settle the claims. He said he had recently drunk three to four glasses of cider at a birthday party.
