Man seriously injured while felling a tree – 39-year-old flown to hospital. Man tried to fell a 40 centimeter thick spruce tree with a chainsaw.
While he was cutting through the trunk, the tree hit him in the leg. The forest worker was treated by an emergency doctor and then transported to a hospital in a rescue helicopter, as reported by the police in Neustadt am Kulm, Upper Palatinate. The man was seriously injured in the incident on Thursday, March 28.
