[HIGHLIGHTS] Mandatory sorting of bio-waste since January 1: in Oise, “there is still a way to go”

21 local authorities in Oise must, since January 1, offer their residents a solution for sorting food waste, or bio-waste. “Some turned a deaf ear until December 31, but it’s started,” assures Michel Méline, composting trainer at Corrélation.

‘These communities are responsible for sorting and have subsidies from the Recovery Plan and the Green Fund to implement them,’ confirms Agnès Jacques, deputy director of Ademe for Hauts-de-France.
