Marseille: a man threatens customers of a hookah bar with a knife and shouts “Allah akbar”. The suspect, known to the police, also called the customers “disbelievers” before being subdued by the police without causing any injuries.
He was taken into custody. The knife used to threaten bar patrons has not been found. An investigation was opened and entrusted to a department of the local national police district. The events occurred on rue Châteauredon, shortly after 9 p.m.
