An inmate from Meaux-Chauconin prison appeared on Friday before the Meaux criminal court for threats he allegedly made. The man, aged 23, formally denied having made these threats - targeting the deputy director of the prison - in front of a guard on January 26.

The defendant received a six-month prison sentence, with a committal warrant. Inmate, imprisoned in Nanterre prison (Hauts-de-Seine), continues to demand his placement in solitary confinement.
