Medieval Palio Piacenza dedicated to the 650th anniversary of Petrarca's death - Emilia Romagna. Event will be held in Piazza Cavalli on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April.
Re-enactment of the visit that the poet made to the city in June 1351, welcomed with full honors by the Visconti mayor. The event program includes a historical Petrarchan procession with ladies and knights and medieval fencing tournaments organized by the Gens Innominabilis School of Arms of Castell'Arquato (Piacenza)
