Mexican soccer player Diego 'Puma' Chávez, from FC Juárez, dies at the age of 28 in a car accident. The forward's death was confirmed by his team in a statement.

During his career, the footballer played for Salamanca, in Spain, and Carlos A. Manucci, in Peru. In his time as a Juáz footballer, Puma scored three goals and provided one assist in 46 games. He also played for the extinct Veracruz, in which he formed, and Toluca.
