Mexico: 10 dead in road accident. Traffic accidents on the rise in Mexico.
Last Sunday, five Argentine tourists and a Mexican national died in a road accident in the state of Quintana Roo. In late January, a collision between a bus and a semi-trailer killed 19 people and injured 22 in the northwestern state of Sinaloa. Traffic accidents have increased sharply in recent years in Mexico, going from 301,678 in 2020 to 377,231 in 2022, according to the National Institute of Statistics.
