Microsoft, 'Moscow-backed hackers in our systems' - Cybersecurity. Microsoft said today that Russian-sponsored hacking group Midnight Blizzard has gained access to some of its digital source code archives and internal systems.
The Redmond company revealed in mid-January that it had been the victim of a cyber attack carried out by Russian government spies. In a new blog post, Microsoft had highlighted that "the same actor has targeted other organizations. As part of our usual notification processes, we have begun notifying victims."
