Last week, Microsoft revealed that it had been the victim of a cyberattack carried out by Russian government spies. In a new blog post, Microsoft highlighted that "the same actor has targeted other organizations" At this point, it is unclear how many companies Russian hackers have hacked and what types of data they have accessed.
Microsoft identified the criminals as the group called Midnight Blizzard, which is believed to work for Russia's foreign intelligence service.. Among the other hi-tech big names hit by the same criminals is Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Hpe), which revealed how its email system hosted by Microsoft was hacked.
