More accidents, fewer serious injuries. Three people died in accidents in 2023, the same number as in 2022.

Almost a quarter of all accidents are associated with a hit-and-run (956, + 9.6 percent) The number of people injured in speeding accidents fell by 8.4 percent to 98. Motorcyclists were involved in 67 accidents (+49 percent), and were also main culprit in 39 cases. In 199 cases, the cyclists were solely to blame for the accident, and it was due to illegal use of the sidewalk.
