Female observers who serve on the border with Gaza once again have to fear for their fate. Parents of female observers reported that last night their daughters spotted Palestinians behaving suspiciously near the border fence with Gaza.
The female observers quickly alerted the commanders in the field about the incident, but the fighters did not receive permission to fire and the Palestinians began to advance towards the border. After pressure exerted by the IDF, one fighter fired at those Palestinians in order to drive them away. The parents of the female observers claimed that the IDF's policy of opening fire towards the Palestinians who approach the fence reminds them of the events of October 7.
