The Olympic Games in Paris are threatened by a call for strike by public employees. The leader of the CGT union, Sophie Binet, alerted the government about the conditions in which public employees will have to work during the sporting event.
The bridges over the Seine and their solidity to withstand crowds are also in question. All of these Parisian infrastructures are currently being inspected, particularly those intended to support the public and the facilities. The Ministry of Labor assures that “there will be no strike during the Olympic Games”
