A new fire station is being built in Goldach. Construction costs are currently estimated at 9.7 million euros.
A reserve area on the upper floor, space for an emergency generator, changing rooms, hose storage and traffic areas were also planned. There were extensive discussions about the roof: a green pent roof with a five percent slope, foil covering and photovoltaics is planned. The local council also decides whether the Goldach fire station will be built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle.
