Munich is experiencing a wave of Siko demonstrations - police take stock. At least 18 demonstrations and rallies announced.
Co-organizer of the demonstrations expects a great response. Preliminary report: Siko in Munich is threatened with a turbulent weekend. A total of around 5,000 police officers from several federal states were deployed. Around 1,200 manhole covers were checked and sealed. 800 barriers were set up and protective measures were taken in 18 hotels. 120 cars were towed and 200 fines were issued.
