A 25-year-old man, on the run for several months and an “active member” of the war between drug traffickers raging in the Pissevin city of Nîmes, was arrested last week. The fugitive, who was the subject of several convictions and against whom the courts had issued several arrest warrants, is “very well known to the police,” Guillaume Lacassin, head of the national search brigade, explained to AFP.

The man was arrested on February 8 in Marsillargues (Hérault) where he was renting short-term accommodation.
