The scene took place Tuesday afternoon in the north of the city. The perpetrator, a 17-year-old boy, is also suspected of several thefts from the trailer and of having given illicit objects to a detainee incarcerated in the prison of Nantes.
While in custody, the teenager admitted to the theft of the car and the aggravated refusal to comply. But he did not recognize "the violence committed with the vehicle" which caused two minor injuries to the police officers who were notified of two days of incapacity for work.
