A pharmacist from the village of Peymeinade, near Grasse, managed to trap one of the two repeat thieves from his pharmacy. On two occasions, he had beauty products displayed on his shelves stolen.
The manager estimated the damage at nearly 2,000 euros, with each cosmetic cream costing between 60 and 80 euros. Similar thefts had also been reported in other pharmacies on the Côte d'Azur, in Antibes and Roquefort-les-Pins.
