A 50-year-old man driving without a license, without insurance and under the influence of drugs was arrested on January 27 around 8:30 p.m. in Vénissieux.
A few moments earlier, he had been spotted by a police patrol while driving at high speed with his headlights off. The police attempted to control the driver of the vehicle who refused to stop. A chase then began. To escape the police, the driver took a street in the wrong direction and ended up hitting a vehicle coming in front of him.
