From June 21, the pool located at the foot of the MuCEM at the entrance to the Old Port and the industrial port of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) will become an official and free seawater swimming pool. Marseille is launching a swimming area in a port area, "whose water quality is superior to other Marseille beaches", according to the sea deputy Hervé Menchon.
The pool will be equipped and monitored until the end of the bathing season.
