Neighbor was in a helpless situation: Police honor Andreas Scholl from Miesbach. Scholl had heard strange noises coming from a neighboring apartment.
After no one responded to his ringing and knocking on the apartment door, he went to the police station not far away. Two officers went back to the apartment, ultimately the fire department opened the door and the emergency services took the injured senior to the hospital. He was lying on the ground with a head wound and was unable to help himself.
