Nestlé, in Europe 95% of packaging is recyclable. Almost 83% of that used by Nestlé is already designed to be recycled.
In the last 5 years the group has managed to reduce the use of virgin plastic by 33%. These are the data that Nestlé released today on the occasion of World Recycling Day, reiterating its commitments to improve recycling processes and waste management. The group is gradually eliminating packaging that is not widely recycled, and studying alternative materials, such as paper.
