New fire station planned close to the flood area. Mittelstetten – The fire station is to be built on municipal property on Plattlplatz.
The local council agreed on this last June, but the land use plan must first be changed. Mayor Franz Ostermeier does not want to follow the water management office's proposal to have the Glonn flood area recalculated for the entire town. It could turn out that the affected area needs to be made even larger.
