New Jersey businessman pleads guilty to attempting to bribe Sen. Bob Menendez and agrees to cooperate in case.

Jose Uribe accepted seven charges, including conspiracy to commit bribery, wire fraud, obstruction of justice and tax evasion. Prosecutors allege he gave a Mercedes-Benz car to the senator's wife. Under the plea agreement, Uribe could face up to 95 years in prison, although he can get leniency if he cooperates and testifies against the other defendants, which he agreed to do.
