Information events and workshops start on February 22nd. The first stop is Nordstrandischmoor. dpa. Every flood deposits sediment on Halligen, but so far more on the edges than in the middle. According to the state company, one question is how sedimentation can be better controlled. The aim is to investigate by the end of 2025 how the Hallige can grow with rising sea levels and at the same time reduce erosion.
