The 15-year-old is also considered a suspect in an armed robbery in the Bronx and another shooting in Times Square last month, police said. Police identified the teen as a resident of a migrant shelter in Manhattan who arrived in New York from Venezuela late last year.
“The current priority of the city, its police departments and our federal partners is to put this man out of harm's way,” said John Chell, chief of patrol for the New York Police Department.
