The Kaltenberg Castle Brewery invites the mayors of the district to the “Royal Strong Beer Tap” in the rustic Ritterschwemme at the beginning of Lent. Prince Luitpold, great-grandson of Bavaria's last King Ludwig III, recalled that around 40 years ago his master brewers created the legendary dark “Ritterbock” with an alcohol content of nine percent.
