Winter crown and soil monitoring in the focus zone to combat the Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) in Miesbach has been completed. The climbers were unable to discover any evidence of the pest, according to a press release.
The trees will probably be routinely examined for the last time in the summer. Special requirements still apply when disposing of cuttings or wood from specified deciduous trees. This can still be used on your own property as firewood or mulch. Transport within or out of the quarantine zone is prohibited.
