Thousands of chickens found themselves on the side of the A13 motorway near Saint-Mards-de-Blacarville (Eure), this Wednesday March 6. In the morning, a truck carrying 4,500 poultry parked on the sides of the road.

The Eure prefecture closed the A 13 and set up a diversion at the Beuzeville interchange 28 in the Caen-Paris direction, while the poultry were collected. “5% of the chickens died in the accident,” the prefecture told the newspaper Ouest France.
