Jazzus cultural cooperative based in Reims, France, is offering six women the opportunity to become DJs through a call for applications until April 22. On June 1st, the first session of ‘Dancing Queen’ will take place.
DJ Fanny aka Mikelyne and Stan Sheraf aka Bruit Fantôme will coach the first recruits. These Dancing Queen evenings could be continued thanks to the second session which could see the light of day next fall. And if the Rémoise is looking forward to seeing more women behind the decks in bars or after concerts, she also sees further with a 100% female line up.
