Nothing worked anymore: traffic chaos on Saturday in the Loisach and Isar valleys - excursionists, vacationers and climate protest at the Fernpass. Block handling was necessary for hours in the Oberaus tunnel.
The reason was the overload of the road network. Particularly in the Mittenwald area, holidaymakers and day-trippers crowded through the town's streets, vehicle after vehicle. The road users tried to avoid the kilometer-long traffic jam on the B2 in the city.
