Novice driver confuses FTO with highway - head-on collision. 18-year-old Austrian mistook the FTO for a motorway and was frightened when oncoming traffic came.
She crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into an oncoming car. Both drivers suffered minor to moderate injuries in the traffic accident and were taken to nearby hospitals. The vehicles had to be recovered by the towing service. The FTO was completely closed for around two hours while the police were investigating the accident.
