EHC Klostersee finished the Bayernliga main round in sixth place and thus qualified directly for the quarter-finals. The Grafingers completed the task on their own ice against the Eispireten Dorfen (5:2) The red and whites were also dependent on a slip-up by the Landsberg Riverkings.
On February 16th we will face Miesbach for the first time. This also applies to the Amberg Wild Lions against the Buchloe Pirates. The two series losers go into the relegation round.
