The University Union (Udu) denounces the enormous delay in the disbursement of the rent fund for non-resident students. "The resources for the year 2023 have just been distributed by the Ministry of the University and will arrive to those eligible in February, a year later than requested", say the boys.
The student union also contests the inadequacy of the allocation, in the face of the housing emergency affecting Italian university cities. Compared to 830 thousand non- resident students, less than 2% will receive a contribution equal to 279 euros per year.
