[HIGHLIGHTS] Oil drilling accident: two years after Flavien's death, his parents still have no answers

Flavien Bérard died after receiving a heavy metal piece on the head, on a construction site in Villemareuil (Seine-et-Marne), on March 2, 2022. A judicial investigation was opened for “manslaughter” at the Meaux court.

Since then, nothing. No one has been indicted. “The judicial investigation is still in progress,” sums up laconically the public prosecutor, Jean-Baptiste Bladier. ‘We are waiting. And the wait is long. And destructive,’ says Flavien’s mother.
