Paintings from the 14th to 18th centuries, with religious or mythological subjects, are attracting new collectors. The first wooden panel, representing Saint Sylvester, was estimated at 1.5 to 2 million euros.

The second, of Saint Helena, had a more modest estimate of €400,000 to €600,000. These two works each found buyers at €3,034,800 and €1,657,600. That’s almost 4.7 million euros!
