One year after the groundbreaking ceremony: Work on the U6 extension to Martinsried is fully on schedule. Of the approximately 800 bored piles, over 70 percent have already been set.
100,000 cubic meters of concrete have been installed, as well as 11,000 tons of steel and four kilometers of grouted anchors. In a few weeks the Am Klopferspitz road will be relocated to the west. The tunnel will continue under the road, and this area will probably only be passable in one lane until August.
