Six fire departments responded to a fire in a carpentry workshop in Reichersbeuern. The fire started through the workshop oven and material that was deposited too close to the oven.
90 volunteers from the volunteer fire departments were on site. The operation was over after about 90 minutes. There is currently no information about the material damage caused, says Anton Melf, the district fire chief and operations manager. The alarm was so extensive because the carpentry shop was in an industrial area, and it was unclear whether there were people in the house.
